The location was absolutely mind-blowing - walking distance to all the jaw-dropping sights. The staff member, Ivan, was super friendly and helpful, even with my late night arrival. The room, although small, was functional with surprising amenities like a kettle and fridge. There was a convenient store nearby for supplies. The breakfast option was great for a short stay with tasty croissants. The shared bathroom was immaculately clean. Silvia was a lovely host, providing easy check-in arrangements. The central location was fantastic for exploring, with the majestic Duomo just minutes away. The apartment was surrounded by vibrant streets and exciting discoveries. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay next year!

Great location, close to everything you need to see and do in the city. Also conveniently located near the train station and Fortezza da Basso. Room was clean and equipped with towels.
The air conditioning in the room was faulty and the host didn't inform me beforehand. The room was above a restaurant and near a chimney, making it uncomfortably stuffy.

The rooms at Shabby Old Town are like a breath of fresh air, with cozy and comfortable furnishings that make you feel right at home. We loved the free WiFi in our room, it kept us connected throughout our stay. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with our little ones in tow. The city view from certain rooms was a treat, adding a touch of charm to our stay. The soundproofing in our double room was a game-changer, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep.
Personally, we found the minibar in the room to be a bit overpriced. But hey, that's just us.

As a frequent traveler, I often look for convenient accommodations during transit, and staying at Affittacamere Shabby Old Town was a smart choice. The hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, only 5 km away, made my journey hassle-free and saved me valuable time. I appreciated the fact that the accommodation is located near a metro station, allowing for easy exploration of Florence's beautiful sights.
The road outside the hotel was quite noisy and as a light sleeper, I struggled to get a good night's sleep.
